The Amador

Located at the far North end of Piedmont Avenue, The Amador is a modern addition to one of Oakland’s most vibrant neighborhoods. The mixed-use building includes 25 residential apartments over ground floor retail and is designed in the ethos, form and material of California Modern design, balancing urban density with open plans, indoor/outdoor living, and lots of natural light.

Presidio Bay navigated the entitlement and permitting process within the City of Oakland and oversaw the ground-up construction of The Amador. The project was originally entitled as a for-sale condominium project until Presidio Bay secured the financing for construction, recapitalized the seller, and revised the business plan to offer the units as rentals to maximize value. The sale reset the high-water mark in all East Bay counties on a dollar per unit basis.
