The Social Security Administration Office is an 11,000 square foot single-story office building sitting on ±0.52 acres with abundant parking and expansion capacity.

Presidio Bay negotiated a 15-year lease with GSA on behalf of the Social Security Administration. Given the GSA prohibition on new construction, Presidio Bay creatively acquired three buildings from a local trade union who had used the property for apprenticeship programs, with the intention of demolishing two to create sufficient parking to satisfy the government’s requirements. The remaining single-story warehouse building was gutted down to the steel structure and rebuilt as a new office building, with brand new exterior skin, roof and building systems.
