33441 Kirkwood Meadows Drive, Kirkwood, CAPresidio Bay acquired the former Thunder Mountain Lodge development site in mid-2021. With 2.34 acres, it is located at the base of the Timber Creek Express, a new high-speed quad chairlift which is providing a true 'ski-in/ski-out' offering within Kirkwood Mountain Resort, one of North America's top mountain resort destinations.
The site was previously entitled for high-density condominiums and Presidio Bay intends to re-entitle the site and oversee the development of a private community of single-family homes anchored by communal amenities. The site and eventual development property will benefit from Vail Resorts' recent purchase of Kirkwood Mountain Resort and their planned infrastructure improvements for the area.
